It’s a brand-new year, and we’re kicking things into high gear for Cruisers on the Rockies II and COTR5! Get ready for more adventure, good vibes, and unforgettable memories in 2025!

 

CRUISERS ON THE ROCKIES II (Crockies2!)

Mark your calendars because we’re heading back to Silverton, Colorado, from July 14-18, 2025.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Check-In & Camping: Opens at 2 PM on Monday, July 14, at Kendall Mountain Lodge.

• Welcome Party & Cookout: We’re kicking things off in style Monday night.

• Action-Packed Fun: Trail runs, social events, and plenty of surprises all week long.

• Epic Raffle Night: The grand finale Thursday night. Don’t miss out!

• Departure: Friday morning, with everyone heading out by 10 AM.

The tentative event schedule will go live on the website this week, so be sure to check it out! We’re also working hard to fine-tune existing activities to make them even better while brainstorming new ideas to bring everyone together and make this year’s event unforgettable.

 

NEW FOR 2025!!!

One of the most exciting new offerings this year is an overnight run from the Front Range into Silverton before the event starts.

Here’s the plan for the overnight run (subject to updates):
We’ll meet up Sunday morning in Walsenburg or Westcliffe and run Medano Pass into The Great Sand Dunes National Park. After exploring the dunes, we’ll head to Salida for an overnight campout.

• Expect a evening with drinks, beer, and an amazing camp-cooked meal prepared by Tim of Gamiviti Racks fame and his talented crew!

• Monday morning, we’ll break camp early and hit the trail, staying off-highway all day as we traverse the stunning backcountry between Salida and Silverton.

• We’ll roll into the Crockies camp via Lake City and either Cinnamon or Engineer Pass, just in time to set up and join the Welcome Party!

We’re planning to split into two groups for the drive:

• A “fast” group led by me for those who want to keep a brisk pace.

• A more relaxed group led by someone else for those who prefer to take it easy.

This overnight run will have limited spots, and COTR4 attendees will get first dibs, followed by Cruisers on the Rockies I attendees, before sign-ups open to the public.

 

CRUISERS ON THE ROCKS V (COTR5!)

Get ready for our fifth installment of off-road fun! COTR5 will take place from October 22-26, 2025, at Windrock Park in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Registration opens this August, with early access for COTR5 and Crockies2 attendees.

There’s still plenty of planning to do, but I can promise this will be the best Cruisers on the Rocks yet!

 

So, whether you’re packing up for the Rockies or Tennessee, it’s time to rally the crew, gear up, and get ready for an unforgettable year of adventure.
